Aaron Terrell Phillips – Music is the Universal Language of The World – Spread it abundantly!
At age twenty-eight, Aaron is a versatile musician, arranger and highly skilled steelpan musician. He started his musical journey at eight years old with the guitar. He discovered his passion for the steelpan when he was fifteen and began his drumming career at eighteen adding to his already impressive skill set.

Aaron started to tutor playing the steelpan at seventeen, further honing his skill set and sharing his knowledge with others. Over the years he has performed in sixteen Steel Band Panorama competitions in Trinidad, New York and London. Known for his creative arrangements Aaron has gained recognition for his work with steelbands particularly in London where he has successfully arranged for bands like Pan Nation, Mangrove and Endurance. He has also brought one of his schools where he teaches, Eltham Hill School to perform at Steelpan Trust’s School-O-Rama 2023.

Aaron is a Steelpan Musician/Percussionist at Mangrove Steelband. He works as a drummer at the South London Samba and is a musical director/drummer at Endurance Steel Orchestra.

He studied BMus (Hons) Popular Music Performance at BIMM London. His expertise in both drumming, playing and arranging has solidified his reputation as a dynamic force in the steelpan community. Panpodium has followed this young talented gentleman’s progress through his musical journey to date and can safely say that his future in music is sound and look out for many more achievements from him.
