BAS 21st Annual Awards - Pan Clash Explosion (16 and over) - Marlon Hibbert.
The 16-and-overs soloist competition allows soloists to perform with two other musicians of their choice. For their second piece, they improvise over a 16-bar rift they had not heard before the competition.
The winner of this category chose Lord Kitchener’s classic “Pan In Harmony” as his tune of choice. The judges described his interpretation as “controlled” and “well-constructed”.
Winner of the 2019 Pan Clash Explosion 16-and-over soloist category is Marlon Hibbert. The Award is presented by Donna Munroe.
