Heart of Steel Orchestra
Heart of Steel is a community steel band based in South-East London (Lewisham borough). Formed in 2010 by Desrine Nelson, the band rehearses on a weekly basis and has performed in a wide range of places across the country. We believe that everyone should have a go at playing pan, as it helps to support a variety of different skills.
As you can tell by our name and logo, we love pans. We pride ourselves in making sure that we enjoy ourselves in rehearsals/performances (which is why you'll always see us laughing), playing our music as best as we can, always striving to do better and living each moment.

We offer performances for all occasions, workshops and provide classes every Friday for anyone who wants to learn how to play the steel pans.
