Pan Nation – Covid 19 Lockdown Story!
Pan Nation had their celebratory 10th Anniversary party in March 2020. And then a few days later we were all officially sent into lockdown. A bit of confusion at the beginning and then some frantic urgent meets ups at the PN pan yard to hand out as many instruments to players as possible. We were about to go into some seriously uncharted lockdown times.
Even though we have physically not been rehearsing together, we have had one of the busiest years ‘doing nothing’.
Our FB/Instagram journey was about to kick off. We were recycling our old videos and backstage at the PN pan yard memories. When we were picked up by a few record companies including Defected Records, who shared our ending of our infamous Teresa’s Dance Mix arranged by Chris Storey.

Our viral reach went global and we picked up a whole new following of dance heads who loved our PN vibes. Utterly blessed to receive 788K views in this video clip alone of 'Gypsy Woman' by Crystal Waters.
Still stuck and not able to connect together. Having gone through most of our videos - we turned to our players to start up written player profiles.
Then we stepped up into live player interviews. Not easy for our members to align with. We had some amazing people represent their vibes. Dan Sadler showcased the way, along with Delphina James, Alina Roberts, and Nathaniel Ricketts.
And as we entered 2021 we were blessed again to reach 10K followers with over 1K new PN members on FB. Plus another pick up from Defected records with shout outs from Robin S this time -it really inspired us to keep representing. As we ventured beyond the players we had the epic Duvone Stewart join PN for our pan chat vibes. Among interviews from iconic people from the pan community such as DJ Martin Jay and Debi Gardner, we are lining up a few more PN fans to help continue that this year. And what’s truly awesome is that there is a shared message of highlighting the lows in lockdown but having pan/music as a healing vibration to help lift you.
Does not matter whether you’re a player or just a listener - you can still represent with the PN vibes.
